This year we're participating in a beautiful campaign to remind all of us to Ponder on The life of Jesus Christ - the Light of the World. The campaign entitled #LIGHTtheWORLD teaches us that the life of Christ was marked by service to others.
What
better way to celebrate Christmas than to follow His example? To kick
off this
2016 Christmas initiative, they are inviting everyone to participate in a
Worldwide Day of Service on December 1st.
We've been asked to please consider helping a loved one, a neighbor, or even a complete stranger. They hope that
thousands of stories of giving and receiving service will be shared
online and we hope that our audience will be numbered among those who took this seriously; as we're all here to help one another and this is a good opportunity to do so.
We're sharing their Christmas website, original video, and short daily-challenge videos from December 1-25
showcasing that day’s service activity. Each of these elements has
great power to teach, inspire and uplift this holiday season.
Please consider watching and sharing! We hope that we can add LIGHT to this world by the small acts of service we give to one another; and contribute to the ripple effect of enlightening and lighting the world.
