The mission of this site is to provide a safe place to connect, intermingle and share with one another. We feel so blessed to have all of you on here. You touch our lives daily and make us laugh, cry, and feel compassion.
Thank you for keeping your sites wholesome and uplifting. We know that all have challenges, heartaches, griefs and sorrows. You can certainly share those things if you feel to do so. But, we also want to make sure that things are appropriate and not irreverant. You have done that. Thank you!
So...we're asking you....What would you like to see on this site? What would be most helpful to you? Do you want to connect with others? Do you want more comments on your own sites? Are you willing to comment on others' sites? How would you like things to be different/better?
Since we do this as volunteers -- we publish and fix when we can. Thanks for your patience in that area.
We want to make this site the best place for you. Thank you for all that you have done to bless lives around the world. Since we're an 'aggregate' list -- we get more hits than some of you do. Hi Heidi~ I really like the event that Voiceboks hosts each week! It has helped my blog increase in traffic and gained new followers....which is wonderful if you have a specific mission to share the gospel via your blog. Basically, an email comes out each week inviting me to join the event. Anyone who accepts must read 5 blogs and make comments that are meaningful. In return, your blog also receives comments and reads. It's motivating and encouraging to see positive feedback from the other women. Let me know if you'd like more details. They also have other groups that encourage moms to share and become fans of your page on Facebook, etc.

I'm so glad I've found this site! I have laughed and cried as I've read some of the blogs.
I can think of a couple of things that would be useful to me, and hopefully to others, too:
1. I noticed that preparedness and daddy blogs have their own tabs. Perhaps there could be other categories of blogs with tabs or labels. With as many blogs as MMWB has, I understand that would be a large undertaking, but it would help me more easily find blogs I might be interested in following.
2. It might be nice to have a post (or more) specifically about LDS blogging, with links to official church widgets, etc. My blog has been up less than a year, and I know I still have lots to learn. A one-stop-shop for ideas specific to LDS blogs would be nice.

We've pondered on categorizing the blogs. Yes, it would be a lot of work to do so - but....could help you all find them more easily.
We'd still want to allow recent posts to be seen. That's the difference between our site and other lists. We allow all to be placed at top of list to be seen and read.
Perhaps we could still do both. Thanks for suggestion.
And...good idea about LDS blogging tab. There is much to learn - much that is continually changing and/or getting better and....many who don't have the time to do all the research.
We'll see what we can do about adding these types of features!

Oh, definitely leave the most recent posts feature! I wouldn't want categories to replace that. I've visited several blogs after the most recent blog blurb caught my eye.
