We live in a day where all vices are sought to destroy the Sanctity of Womanhood and undermine our God-given roles. We can not be like the world. We have further light and knowledge, and, led by Prophets of God have been instructed in the truths of womanhood and motherhood. The closer we embrace the teachings of the Lord - the happier we'll be. If we buy into the frenzy of the world we'll reap it's fruits/downfall.
I'm so grateful for the blessings of understanding that has come to me because men and women of God have been willing to share. We, too, must open our mouths and share the principles of the Gospel.
Today I found this great message from Elder Scott. I felt it worthy to share here:
"So many of our sisters are disheartened, even discouraged, and disillusioned. Others are in serious trouble because of the choices they make. Satan has unleashed a seductive campaign to undermine the sanctity of womanhood, to deceive the daughters of God and divert them from their divine destiny. He well knows women are the compassionate, self-sacrificing, loving power that binds together the human family. He would focus their interests solely on their physical attributes and rob them of their exalting roles as wives and mothers. He has convinced many of the lie that they are third-class citizens in the kingdom of God. That falsehood has led some to trade their divinely given femininity for male coarseness." Elder Richard G. Scott, The Sanctity of Womanhood
