From a lesson entitled "Finding Nobility in Motherhood and Joy in Womanhood" we read the following:
Nobility in Motherhood, Joy in Womanhood
“Each of you should be grateful to be a woman! … To be a righteous woman is a glorious thing in any age. To be a righteous woman during the winding up scenes on this earth, before the second coming of our Savior, is an especially noble calling. The righteous woman’s strength
and influence today can be tenfold what it might be in more tranquil times”. - President Spencer W. Kimball
"In July 1830 the Prophet Joseph Smith received a revelation for his wife, Emma. The revelation was given to strengthen, encourage, and instruct her and was recorded in the Doctrine and Covenants to strengthen, encourage, and instruct others: “Lift up thy heart and rejoice, and cleave unto the covenants which thou hast made. Continue in the spirit of meekness, and beware of pride. … Keep my commandments continually, and a crown of righteousness thou shalt receive.”
If we do what's right we have no need to fear,
For the Lord, our helper, will ever be near;.......
But an unseen pow'r will aid me and you
In the glorious cause of truth." Hymn 243
