How Are We Doing on 'Sweeping the Earth as With a Flood?

I've read, pondered on and watched this message from Elder Bednar numerous times since he gave it last August.  My question to us all is "How are we doing on it?"

Our Saviors Love Shines like the Sun with Perfect Light....
He asked us to sweep the earth as with a flood - with messages of light and truth; that bless and uplift. In his words "Beginning at this place on this day, I exhort you to sweep the earth with messages filled with righteousness and truth—messages that are authentic, edifying, and praiseworthy—and literally to sweep the earth as with a flood."

Are we doing our part?  Is our heart dedicated to the Lord and His glorious work?  Are we striving, with a consecrated effort, to do all that has been asked of us for good?  I certainly hope that we are.  I know that I am grateful for those of you I read about who are.  Thank you for that.  It blesses and strengthens me, too.

Elder Bednar reminded us for what purpose these technologies were created:

"We are blessed to live, learn, and serve in this most remarkable dispensation. An important aspect of the fulness that is available to us in this special season is a miraculous progression of innovations and inventions that have enabled and accelerated the work of salvation: from trains to telegraphs to radios to automobiles to airplanes to telephones to transistors to televisions to computers to satellite transmissions to the Internet—and to an almost endless list of technologies and tools that bless our lives. All of these advancements are part of the Lord hastening His work in the latter days.
In 1862 Brigham Young said: "Every discovery in science and art, that is really true and useful to mankind has been given by direct revelation from God, though but few acknowledge it. It has been given with a view to prepare the way for the ultimate triumph of truth, and the redemption of the earth from the power of sin and Satan. We should take advantage of all these great discoveries, the accumulated wisdom of ages, and give to our children the benefit of every branch of useful knowledge, to prepare them to step forward and efficiently do their part in the great work” (Discourses of Brigham Young, sel. John A. Widtsoe [1954], 18–19)."

I share my own witness of these truths and of the importance of us striving to help in this glorious cause; of bringing others to a knowledge of Christ by the way we live our lives and the things we share online.

I encourage all to Read or Watch his full POWERFUL message again and again.

Every Trial and Experience is Necessary for our Salvation

All intelligent beings who are crowned with crowns of glory, immortality, and eternal lives must pass through every ordeal appointed for intelligent beings to pass through, to gain their glory and exaltation. Every calamity that can come upon mortal beings will be suffered to come upon the few, to prepare them to enjoy the presence of the Lord. If we obtain the glory that Abraham obtained, we must do so by the same means that he did. If we are ever prepared to enjoy the society of Enoch, Noah, Melchizedek, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, or of their faithful children, and of the faithful Prophets and Apostles, we must pass through the same experience, and gain the knowledge, intelligence, and endowments that will prepare us to enter into the celestial kingdom of our Father and God. … Every trial and experience you have passed through is necessary for your salvation.  - Teachings, Brigham Young

The Greatest Gift

"It is written that the greatest gift God can bestow upon man is the gift of eternal life.  The greatest
attainment that we can reach is to preserve our identity to an eternal duration in the midst of heavenly hosts.  We have the words of eternal life given to us through the gospel, which, if we obey, will secure unto us that precious gift."   President Brigham Young
